Their magic number is how many games they are ahead in their division in conjunction with how many are left to play. In their case, they are 1 game up on the Brewers with 62 games still to play. This means their magic number is 62, meaning if they win 62 more games (virtually impossible with 62 remaining) they are guaranteed to win the division. WAAAAAYYYY too far out to be talking magic number. But technically, they do have one.

Yeah they are they shouldn't though because The Brewers are knocking on the front door step trying to take over the NL Central Lead, You what they did to the Cardinals they last two Night, Milwaukee will do the same kind of damage to the Cubs as they are doing to the Cardinals, to Pre-mature to say what or whose Magic Number it is right now, Cub Fans better not play Dumb now, because later the Brewers and Cardinals one wins the National League Central, the Other The Wild Card, so don't talk about Magic Numbers Just Yet.
