Baseball seats? Just $24???????

Question

I just bought 2 tickets to a Pirates game vs. Mets and they were $24 each!!!!

The seats are in the 2nd row, on the bottom section. (not the VERY bottom section with the 5 rows of club seats and waiters etc.)

They are right behind the plate.

My question is why were they so cheap?

The Pirates also have a deal where you get 4 tickets 4 pirates hats and a $25 gas card for $75.They have to do stuff like this to attract people to come. It's hard to draw people when you have absolutley no chance to make the playoffs especially late in the season.

because the pirates stink so the tickets are lower so more fan comes so they can pay all there players

Pittsburgh lowered the ticket prices so they can't get more customers and get more money.

Some teams like the Pirates need to keep the cost of their tickets down to fill seats.

The Pirates are a bad team. They've got talent, but they can't seem to win.

If they want people to come see the games, ticket prices have to stay low. All their tickets are pretty inexpensive. It's great because PNC Park is a fun place.

either you got fooled or maybe its cuz its in pittsburg!!! haha. they have a hard time getting 10k ppl there so maybe thats why they are soo cheap

idk but in minnesota they are like $12 for home run seats
