Has there ever been a scenario in Major League Baseball where one pitcher had a no-hitter and the other pitcher had a one-hitter?

  1. In a double-header, Dizzy Dean threw a one-hitter for St. Louis and his brother Daffy then threw a no-hitter. I don't know if it's ever happened head-to-head, though.


  2. Sandy Koufax's perfect game in 1965. The Cubs pitcher allowed one hit, which did not figure into the one run the Dodgers scored.
