Baseball/steroids question?

Ok I want to play major league baseball and will stop nothing short. I do take prescription steroids since im an asthmatic to help me breathe. Will this affect anything like if i took a steroid test and could i get banned for it?

  3. no problem there. you have a medical reason and its not a dangerous, performance-enhancing anabolic steroid.

    FYI - whenever you hear about a player taking a cortizone shot in his shoulder/elbow/anywhere else to relieve pain and inflamation, he's using a steroid.  Cortizone is a steroid - steroids are great at reducing inflamation (like when your asthma acts up).  

    It's the "anabolic" steroids that are used to build muscle.  Those steroids' (like nandrolone, "the clear" and "the cream" etc.,) main effect is to increase testosterone levels in the body well above naturally occuring levels.  That is something your inhaler doesn't do.
