I read a study that said by the year 2050, the "white race" will no longer be the majority in the USA. Since it's now 2008, that would mean that there should be more "cultural mixture" happening by now, if that prediction by social scientists is to be true. And judging from the faces at both conventions, the Democratic convention best represented the true mix of American population currently.

The Republican convention was blindingly, overwhelmingly white.

obviously the dnc there was a refreshing mix of young old black brown white. Hey just like the american population.

All i saw at the rnc were old white guys wearing cowboy hats that seemed to be amused or even tried to make a positive political point that palin bagged a moose.

oh and FYI i am white, not a minority. I just have half a brain and a conscience.

The RNC best represented the 'small towns & big dreams' part of America.

I asked something similar to this and got the "you are racist" race card. Why can't we talk about this without idiots saying..OH, you played the race card! So, at the risk of being labeled a "bigot", I will answer. Most minorities are Dems, that is the strong base of the Dems, and always have been. Doesn't mean it is bad, just the way it is. So, of course the DNC will have more diversity because minorities support the Dems in bigger droves than the Reps. Ok, now everyone can call me a racist.
