Based on the tragic 2008 season, which Detroit Tigers should return next year and which ones should not?

  1. Yeah, I have not heard Rod or Mario talk yet while watching the games, but I think the offseason is going to be huge for the Tigers. I look for them to go get a LHP, who knows, maybe CC Sabathia. I look for them to go get a SS, because I know Michael Holliman is going to be in AAA for most of 2009. I think Zumaya will be the Closer, and Cabrera will bat cleanup. I dont think Sheffield will be back, Im not sure about Marcus Thames either because of Joyce and Thomas. I just think the Tigers will trade for a SS in the winter. Last year they should have traded for Cabrera and Hanley Ramirez, not Dontrelle Willis. I dont think Curtis will bat leadoff anymore, he might bat 3rd or 4th. I hope the Tigers contend in 2009, because I would love to say, Detroit Tigers: 2009 World Series Champions!!


  2. ok we can Throw IN MARIO AND ROD!! they are so depressing and kiss ups if I have ever heard,

    well the season was not depressing at all, at least not  to me anyway,, I knew they would still stink,,

    even with  the big payroll  and the so called big names they are still the Kitty's

    the players that need to go  are

    Maggs, plays statue out in right no hustle at all

    Cabrera yes  fat boy is not worth the money

    Willis

    Rodgers

    Bondoman he will not be the same

    Zumya another one year wonder

    Rentinra, Sheffield, gone but won't happen due to the contracts

    All of the coaching staff every player has deterioed since they all had arrived,

    the players to keep easy

    Robertson  , Fransworth,Seay , Miner, Inge, Polly, Granderson,

    Bring up  Hesseman, Neal, Thomas, Ostlund,Clevan
