Bashing Palin for being a mom?

I've seen Palin and other republicans saying the Democrats bash her for being a mother and running for VP. Can anyone tell me what Dem bashed her for this?

There has been some talk but not from prominent Dems

I mean when one sees her infant son, you think she should try and spend as much time as possible with him instead of trying to be second in command of the free world.

It actually is slightly different since the baby has Down's syndrome. I'm not saying that I know a male candidate would be questioned the same way if he had a new Down's baby, but I think he should... and she should as well. It's a major challenge above and beyond normal child rearing, and while I won't say she has no business going after her career at a time like that, it will make me question her priorities and judgment.

im not sure who it was but i guess some ppl were saying because she has a 4 month old there is no way she will be able to take on the white house...which is crazy cause obama is a father so how is that any different?? i think ppl will just think of anything to hold against the ppl they dont like?

No one would dream of asking Barack Obama if  in his running for office he is neglecting his daughters. It's a sexist question. We Democrats know a B.S. attack when we hear one. (Yes, I'm a Democrat.) Let's fight fair!
