Agriculture is the fabric of all, binding all facets of human endeavors. It feeds us, yes, and it also supplies everything we need and use in life that is not a mineral (metals and non-metal minerals). Of minerals many are needed in agriculture directly as well as indirectly. Agricultural products  are the basis of economics as their products as described above are ever pervasive at so many levels in society. Those in the many jobs that are of or related to agriculture are a huge part of the work force, which is the base of the forward momentum of society of which everyone has a part. Those not directly or indirectly involved hold down other positions in our culture, and that contribution fuels part of the economy and allows them to purchase all the goods and services of the agro community. The contribution of that agro community allows us as people to create our great civilization. Agricultural products are the bottom line of a countries imports and exports, the gross national product, and a driving force in international legislation and regulation (law). It is that which allowed us to build cities and homes instead of staying in small family groups while forever foraging for daily needs and moving on again. It let us build cities and all that is the cultures we all call home.
