Basic French Translations and Help?

I have a friend that speaks French, and he likes when I speak French, even know I know Spanish. How do I say these things in French? And are there any other simple phrases I could use?

Hello / Hi / Hey

How are you? (formal)

How are you? (informal)

Good Morning

Good Afternoon

Good Evening

Goodnight

    Comment cava? (pronounced sa va)

    cava  bien?

    Bonjour!

    Bon apresmidi!

    Bonsoir

    or Bonsoiree (have a good night is bonsoiree where as good night is bonsoir. Have a good day is bonjournee, whereas hello is bonjour)

    Hi = salut

    How are you (formal) = comment allez zous? (not very often used)

    How are you (informal) = ca va? (the c should have a cidilla but i don't know how to put one in) (this is used in almost all ways of asking "how are you?")

    Good morning = bon matin (virtually never used. people would use bonjour instead)

    Good afternoon = again people would use bonjour

    Good evening = bonsoir (this is used quite a lot)

    Good night = bon nuit
