service tax is payable quarterly- by ffth of the monthh following. quarters June, Sept, Dec, March ending. for qe march the tax is to be paid by 31st march. the rate of service tax is 12% and education cess 2%, higher ed. cess 1% of the service tax, effectivelt 12.36%. vat is state subject and rules/ rate differ. u have to see tariff manual of the state for vat.  pf & ESI are labour law matters. but it can be said that annual reports are compulsory in al maters in april, because financial year is apriol to March there may be some reports/ returns during year for which a labour matters consultant may g8ive detailed reply.
