Basic Myspace question?

I finally decided to set up a myspace account but I can't figure out something. You know at the top where it says by default so and so is in your extended network, how do personalize that part? I have seen it on other peoples pages say different things. Thank you. I feel dumb for asking bc I know it should be something simple.

oh your homepage, look for your mood and status - type it there
