Basic Turkish sentence?

I'm trying to learn Turkish for my friend who is Turkish. He can speak very good English and I said I'd learn Turkish :)

This is just basic but does it actually make sense?

Merhaba, Nasilsin? (I would pronounce this, Merhaba Nasslesin.)

I would answer Nasilsin with..

Yim iyi. (Pronounced.. Eee-um)

LOL..

Tuvalet Nerede, lutfen? (Pronounced, Too va let near de loot fen?)

That's all I'm really stuck with at the moment, the rest of my Turkish is okay.
