  1. If by "green fuel" you mean ethanol or an ethanol/petrol blend you basically have to replace the entire fuel system.  Ethanol will dissolve seals that petrol doesn't affect.  Ethanol also attracts water which causes corrosion and problems between different metals.  Be prepared to spend money or better yet just buy a car that is made to use the blend.

Vegetable oil works fine in older diesels, but not as well in the newer clean-burning diesels which also require a blend with regular diesel fuel.

  2. if its diesel just drain the tank and add and veg / animal cooking oil, it will run like a dream .check top gear or myth busters chippys pay u to pick it up. roflmao

  3. which "greeen fuel"

  4. the best green fuel is electric - smooth, quiet, smell free, low maintenance. (£0 road tax, refuel at home, free parking in cities like Westminster)

simply take out all the high maintenance bits like engine, coolant & fuel systems. connect the electric motor to the gearbox (not required due to high torque of motor, but simplest way of connecting to wheels), fit batteries for the range/performance you require wherever convienient (consider weight distribution & loads), switch on and go.

The best way is to contact a local group who can help sourcing the parts, especially bulk order batteries

  5. Diesel, you don't do anything, just put biodiesel fuel in it.

Regular car, you sell it and get a diesel.  You can also get an E85 friendly car if you're in the American midwest.  Although, E85 isn't very good.

If you'll never have cause to drive more than 20 miles with that car, and you're electrically inclined, you could convert it to battery electric.  Lots of people do that.  If you need unlimited range you could then make it a series hybrid, but that's a lot less common, and tricky to get past smog.

  6. petrol cars will need major changes to the fuel system to run pure biofuel ie ethanol.

diesel cars will need little to no changes to run pure biodiesel.

plus diesel cars will run better on biofuels

petrol cars seldom run as good on biofuels even after being modified.

  7. What do you mean by "Green Fuel"?
