  1. I'm only a begginer in Science (1st year) but i do know that when electrons absorb energy they expand (probably pushing the shell further away)

  2. absorbed sound correct to me??

  3. Shake it baby!

  4. An electron must absorb energy if it is to jump to a shell farther out. If it is moving in to a lower-energy orbit, it has to release energy.
