  1. No, you keep the basic strategy no matter how many cards you have.  When you have a certain number and you know what the dealer's up card is,  you make your decision on the odds, not on emotion.

  2. basic strategy relies only on the numbers.  What do you have, vs. what the dealer is showing regardless of the number of cards.

  3. you dont hit on 16 or higher. if you hit on 16 the only way you can stay in the game is if you get a 5 or lower so 5/13 is S****y luck compared to the 6/13 that says you're going to lose.

another good way to play is, always assume the dealer has a face down 10, you are 1/3 of the time right. 4/13 cards are 10s so its fairly high odds for it to be a 10.

also: In your situation I would hit: you will get a five card charlie (i.e., if you hit five times without busting you automatically win.)

There are mutiple ways of counting cards, a simple one is to count the number of 10 valued cards. everytime one pops up you subtract one from the count in your head. every time a non-ten card shows up you add one.

the higher the number the better because it means that when the dealer has to hit they are more likely to bust.

  4. have u ever seen the movie "21" that came out this year? if not then u should watch it cuz it kinda explains so blackjack stuff sense thats what the movie is about...its a really good movie.  www.watch-movies.net

  5. if the dealer has 10 and you have 15.

    Hit. Unless you can Surrender.

if you have three fours (don't split) 12 and the dealer has 2.

It depends. I hit, but some people stay.

  6. The answer is YES.  At this link you can see a chart that details when you should hit, stay, double down, and split according to basic strategy.  http://GamblingReviewsSite.com/casinogam...
