Basingstoke - just what is the point of it?

I hae to change platforms there if I am getting the train up north. Also I think every single company in the world has a call centre there. That's about it, really.

My sister lives in Basingstoke, well in Chineham which is part of it I think...she works there anyhow.

She loves it. But then again she was living in Telford before that...

I like it there, has some nice restuarant and cute little pubs...

What's the point in Telford is what I ask?

Its was built as the national roundabout testing centre, even in cb days it was doughnut city. Really c**p place.
