  1. with dual citizenship anythings possible

  2. if they can't how come the other country could get american players to play for there country?

  3. Well, here's the thing.  First of all, every member of Team USA has to be a U.S. citizen.  But anyone who is good enough to be asked to join Team USA is probably going to represent his own country instead of being on our squad.

  4. They can't. But if they are US citizens, yes they can.

Examples, Patrick Ewing played in the 92' squad. He is a US citizen but were born in other country.

    Hakeem Olajuwon same way...

    Thanks

    Eddie!

  5. I know that in track a man who played for Kenya in Athens 04 played for the US in Beijing 08 and im pretty sure that the rules for which team you can play for are the same for track and basketball (prob. all the Olympic sports)

  6. If you have a citizenship, you can.If you have two citizenships, let's take Germany as the other example. The first time you play in the Olympics, the country you choose is the only one you can play for the rest of your life.

If you play for Germany and get a America citizenship, you still can't play for the U.S because you've already played for Germany.
