  1. 1. Yes. As long as you don't step at the line while doing it, it's legal.

    2. Again yes. As long as you pass before the 5 second limit.

    3. I think they'll be given a delay of the game warning so the referee would get the ball before inbounding.

    4. No, that's called a three second violation.

    5. Right now with the defensive three seconds implemented, you cannot stay for more than 3 seconds in the shaded lane or you'll be assesed with a T.

    6. Yes. Refs will never allow that to happen it's a violation.

    7. That's the standard. Yes.

    8. No you cannot handle the ball for the whols shot clock. A single player is permitted to hold the ball for 5 seconds without moving or dribbling, after the prescribed time you'll get another turnover.

    9. No. That will be illegal dribble.

    10. Yes, but I highly doubt it since players in the NBA are so quick they would have probably stole the ball by now.

    11. Yup.

    12. No. Only at the top of the board, or the back of it is considered "out".

    13. I remember Tim Duncan getting a technical for laughing on the bench even thrown out of the court. I think it's ok as long as you don't stick it to the referees face, or if your official is not named Joey Crawford. LOL.

    14. No, I think as soon as the ball comes flying on the air it is considered a shot, you can't get it unless someone else would come and take it from you, you'll be assesed with travelling.

    Hope this helps.

  6. Ill try my best.  My answesr are next to the questions.

1.) Can you inbound pass however, I mean can you overhead pass it, chest pass it, bounce pass it, chuck it, anything?

-No, you cant hand pass it off.  Like just handing it over to someone standing next to you.  It has to be passed in.  That is a rule.

2.) After the other team scores and you are inbounding the ball, can you run around to get open to inbound the ball in?

-Yes you can.  But you only have 6 seconds.

3.) If the other team knocks the ball out, can you run around to get open to inbound the ball in?

No, you have to inbound where the ball left the court.

4.) Can the person will the ball stay in the key for more than 3 seconds?

-No, 3-sec rule prohibits any player from staying under the basket for more than 3 seconds.

5.) If you are on defense, can you stay in the key for as long as you want or is it 3 second or as long as you want if you have a player arm length away from you?

-There is a defensive 3 secs which means you have to stay next to the proximity of a defender.

6.) If you kick the ball accidentally, does the other team get the ball?

-Yes.  The refs wont know if you did it on purpose or not.  The opposing time gets the ball and the shot clock goes back to 14.  If the shot clock was initially over 14, then its reset to 24.

7.) If you can't dribble anymore, can you throw the ball at the other player so you can start dribbling again

-Yes, i believe so.  they "deflected" it, so its legal.

8.) How long can you just hold the ball, is it till the shot clock runs out?

-I believe so.  24 secs max.

9.) If YOU *by doing a trick or so* lose the ball and the ball loses dribble completely can you pick it up and start dribbling again?

-i dont really get what you mean by this question.  Imma say no?  If you stop dribbling, then you cant start again

10.) If YOU *by doing a trick or so* lose the ball and the ball doesn't lose dribble can you start dribbling again?

-If you dont lose dribble, then you're still dribling?  sorry confusing question. :(

11.) If you shoot a basketball and it hits the back of the hoop, is it out?

The back of the hoop?  Well if it goes over the backboard it is out, but back of the hoop..idk where the back of the hoop is.  But if you mean back of backboard, then yes.

12.) If you shoot a basketball and it hits the side of the hoop, is it out?

-Again, assuming you mean backboard, this time, its still fair.

13.) Is it a technical to yell anything other than "ball, shot, miss?"

No, you can yell anything, but you the refs can still eject you.

14.) If you have the ball and haven't dribbled yet, can you throw the ball up and catch it for no apparent reason?

-No, its catching your own airball and/or ups-and-downs traveling.
