Basketball and weightlifting?

i am trying to get bigger and stronger in order to increase my shooting range and vertical jump for basketball. i just started taking creatine and will lift 2 or so times a week. however, i would like to practice shooting, dribbling, and ect. on the off days (about 30-one hour session, semi-intense. Will this inerfere with my gains?

  1. If i were you i would also try to throw in a day of plyometrics it helps so much


  2. You need to practice often when you pump weights because when you get stronger, your accuracy fade a little.  You have to acclimate yourself to your bigger muscles.

  3. no, it shouldnt. just dont lift too much. that would be really unhealthy for your mustles.
