  1. sorry only for speed just jog/sprint 2-3 miles every other day

  2. Your endurance will benefit most from jump rope and running. Distance running will help with overall endurance but one of the keys for building up basketball endurance is to run "horses" or "suicides" on the court or in your driveway.

Short bursts of all-out speed with the quick changes in direction will most accurately simulate basketball movements.

In most cases, you aren't really needing a "new" exercise but you will want to do your exercises and drills at "game speed". Push yourself to do the Mikan drills faster... work on shooting form with a focus on catching the ball already in a shooting position. Most players (especially young players) will receive the ball with their legs straight. After they catch the pass, they then bend their legs and load the shot.

This gives the defender time to close out on you and takes away some of your offensive advantage.

You want to already be in a shooting position, squared up with the basket and knees bent. Then work on being able to catch the pass and release the shot with good form as quickly as possible.

A site I recommend for learning to increase speed, agility, shot accuracy, and overall basketball IQ is:

  3. While you don't mention your position, I'm guessing you're a post from your inclusion of post work. Keep lifting, but as your tryout gets closer do more reps with less weight. No use getting dinged by trying to do too much when you've worked so hard to get ready for your season. I'm betting from your gear list that you're in pretty good shape anyways. Regardless of your position, you should be shooting as much as possible, but focus on form before distance. I'm sure you're running, but try this-start out 10 secs walking, 10 secs jogging, 10 secs running-as you progress you can cut down time and after a few weeks you can drop the walking altogether and just alternating between jogging & walking as basketball is all about changing speeds. Also, again regardless of position- the best thing you can do is jump rope every day. Quick feet are at least as important as speed and will improve all aspects of your game.  Been coaching high school hoops for 14 years and did aau for 9 and have used the above as part of my preseason for that long.Good luck with your season. Hope this helps.
