Basketball is........

     The greatest sport on the face of any planet!!!!

The unthinkable happens all the time in basketball.

And there is nothing, nothing at all, that rises your Adrenalin rush more than the screams of a crowd after an amazing play.

If you haven't experienced that, you are missing out and there is no way to explain it.

Also, the families that can be created from basketball are amazing.

This year, I played with ten girls I have never met before in my life, by the end of the season, we were inseparable.

And I have never seen a group of random girls care that much about each other.

One of my point guards was injured in a cheap shot. The girl elbowed her across the face three times while fighting for a jump ball.

After that, every one on the team knocked her down at least once and we did it a legally.

No fouls were called ;-]

For some of us, basketball is our life, it's what makes us happy, it's what gives us pride and it's what makes us crazy.

To play ball, you have to be either mentally insane or just stupid.

If you can go through a practice where you conditioned for the whole hour and a half, and say that you still had fun, you take "for love of the game" to a whole new level.

I love this game. I always have, and I always will.
