Basketball or football or both? Highschool?

ok im more focused on basketball right now but i still want to join football. but iv been hearing people and they are saying to skip football and practice more on basketball. cuz i still need to improve. but i thought footballl would get me into even better shape.

what should i do

  2. You could just join the training and practices of football for a while and then quit the team. Football can get you into shape since it's known to be more vigorous than almost any other HS sport, but the training may not cross over into basketball too well. You could do both and get into shape, but your body will take its toll. Plus if you get injured in football, you may not be able to play basketball.
