Basketball players question?

Please answer this question seriously. See the 8th grade basketball tryouts r going to start in about 2 to 4 mounths. I have about 50 days to improve my range. See i am a very good mid range jump shooter. But i really need to improve my range to where i can shoot threes. Any advice to improve my three point shooting range i can shoot about on the three point line, but not passed it. Also i don't it meat so if u r going to answer eat meat don't cause i don't eat meat. Any foods that can give me the same calicum as meat and any exercises that i can do at home to improve my range.

  1. do pushups, dips(work triceps), jumprope. shoot shot behind the 3 point alot. you have to shoot behind your range to work on it. youll get frustrated at first but keep doing it


  2. Just keep shooting the 3 because you will not improve unless you shoot it. Shoot lots of 3s.

  3. protein. if not meat then beans and eggs are good...even fish but i'm not certain if you can eat that.

    as for improving range, i recommend strengthening your body. for range alone i would work on your triceps...they are the muscles most responsible for that power and snap back action when shooting a basketball.

  4. work on strenthing ur arms legs-knees..ur knees are the most important part in shooting...start shooting from he free throw line..shot 10 free throws..wen u get make at least 6/10 take 2 steps back..same thing from der until u hit the 3 point line

    but keep ur knees bent ,eyes on the rim, and remember to follow through

  5. maybe practice 1 hour a day and get a coach or your family to help you

  6. If you have short legs and arms you should always pratice leaners, (jumping toward the goal with your shot)

  7. in seventh grade, i couldn't shoot threes, but a very good inside and mid range shooter

    over the summer i worked on my strength, doing push ups and weights

    and ate a lot fruits and vegetables

    then in eight grade i was the best three piont shooter on the team

    honestly every shot i shot went in

    the key is to shoot the same way you shoot your midrange shots

    shoot your three point shot

    you said you are good at mid range, so dont change your shot form

    just use your same shot to shoot threes

    just agin strenght

  8. lol who the **** would tell you to eat meat to improve your range? hahahahah dumb ***, and to the person who said he lifted weights and did pushups that shouldnt help u unless u have a weird shot from because all of your power in your jumpshot should come from your legs not your arms
