Basketball plays positions?

uhh what positions does every 1 on a team get.how many are on the position at the same time. uhh how do they get them??

Well there are 5 people on the court per team during the game. Point guard, Shooting Guard, Small Forward, Power Forward, and Center.

If you follow the NBA or College or International leagues, this is evident.

People like Steve Nash are pure point guards, always looking to pass.

Dwyane Wade is a versatile guard, which means he can play point guard or shooting guard.

Peja Stojakovic is your typical small forward. Too slow to play guard, too weak to play Power forward.

Tim Duncan is the Best Power forward of all time. He usually posts up on the low block and can score from any which way.

Dwight Howard rounds out the typical positions at center. Huge, very strong, in there for rebounds, blocks, and put back dunks hehe.

okay.... so.... there can only be five people on the court at once from each team. for example. 5 celtics and 5 cavileirs\

the five positions are: center, small forward,power forward, point guard,and shooting gaurd. well if your talking about pro ur coach for example coach of celtics is doc rivers assigns u 2 the positon u play best on. if ur talking about gym class or a middles scjool basket ball team something like thats its random or u beg ur school coach 2 let u paly the positin u want.

ugh if u talking about just possitions in bball....there is

point guard

shooting guard

power forward

small forward

center

5 on the court at all times.... unless everyone is fouled out lol
