You could also try the frogs made by powerbait.  They have a good track record.

I recomend using an Arborgorast Hula Poper for Bass. I use the original color.

Well I threw this regular all green body frog with a white and green tail  over some fairly thick algae and got some great intense hits.

It was a lure I found at Kmart and most department stores(walmart, targert ect)

the best brand is the ones you can get your hands on down at the local pond (alive!) lol use real ones if you can trust me ive done it sucessfully many times. To harness these bad boys make it so the hook is facing forward to simulate real action
