  1. Garcia or Pinnacle bait casters on a medium to heavy rod for worms and diving plugs. Top water plugs Quantum open faced reels and medium rod. Worms always use a Texas Rig set up with 1/8 or 1/4 oz bullet weight depending on the worm weight..

  2. I use the Texas Rig for shallow water 0 to 15ft...I use a bullet sinker, then a glass bead, then a 2/0 extra wide gap hook...I use all types a plastics on this rig

Carolina Rig for deeper water, 8 to 20 ft...but it can be used in shallow water also...the way I rig it is as follows...a 1/4 oz egg sinker, two glass beads, then a barrel swivel, depending on the fish a 6in to 3 ft leader with a 2/0 extra wide gap hook..I use all types of plastics on this rig...

Shakey Head can be used for both deep and shallow water as well as for "skipping docks"...I have been using this rig a lot lately...I use usually a 1/8 oz Jig head (or shakey head)...I prefer the ones with the s***w on bait holder...for deeper water or on a windy day I use a 1/4 oz one...I use only Finesse Worms and Trick Worms on this rig...hope this helps...

  3. I have caught alot more fish since I started using the Texas rig. I like to use 4 inch worms Purple seems to work well & a bullet sinker.

  4. texas and carolina rigs are good. search it on youtube and it will show you how to set it up. i also like to use just a crawler or minnow on a black jighead with a yellow eye. ive also caught a few bass with a green jighead and black eye.
