Question:

Bass and volume?

I am building a custom made box for my subwoofer the recommended sealed enclosure is 24L - 49.6L.

Will i get more bass if i build it closer to 24L or more bass if it get closer to 49.6?

  1. Chances are, the larger you go, the flatter the response and lower the tuned frequency.  The smaller the box, the higher the tunned frequency and possibly a bit of a gain ... maybe 1 db.  I'd go for the larger box if you have the space.
