Bass fishing?

i would like to know the best lure for shallow bass water?

number one-shallow running spinner bait in 1/4 ounce size, number two- a buzz bait, number three- a top water in the smaller sizes- recommended- pop-r, chug-bug, tiny torpedo If you can get some of the oldie Goldie's you may try the dying flutter, the devil horse, or the crippled minnow. No matter what bait or if you catch or not, it's fun isn't it?

I'll go for buzz baits or topwater lures but there is always the faithful standby.... plastic/rubber worms!!!  Different colors and I try not to use a sinker when it's shallow...

You need a selection and be prepared to change bait often. Watch the people fishing where you are fishing and see what they are using for bait.

Bass change their preference for bait with the changes of weather, air temperature, water temperature, time of day, water clarity, type of cover in the water, availability of bugs, aquatic animals, and other food fish.

So what may have been a terrific bait at 10 a.m. can be a no hitter at 10:30 a.m.   Be prepared to change bait when the fish change feeding preferences.

Well, for me i use sunnys, their illegal to use as bate, but they work, most people wont care, but if theres a bass around ull catch it, catch one and put it on a big hook, once the bass has it wait for like 10 seconds, so it can swallow the bait, then pull her in! Also, to be on the safe side, they sell swim baits at cabellas for like $5, they look just like sunnys, or u could use a texas rig, they work great too! Finaly u could use, spinner bait, buzz bait, and corn, hot dogs, pretty much whatever! i highly recommend the sunnys though, i caught a  22" today, good luck!

watermelon red senko's by Gary Yammamoto and zoom mini lizards in the same color work all the timfor everthing 4inches and up. on very productive days upgrade larger lizards (mini is 4 or 3in im not sure, the normal lizards 5, and the magnum lizard is 8in) if your not getting fish on the senko (through weightless for the lizard put a weight that will stay about 12-18in above the the hook) as i was saying  if your not getting fish on the senko try the 3in Fat Senko by Gary Yamamoto

I like fishing a Texas Rigged Plastic Bait...i have been using the Zoom Ol Monster a lot lately and have been catching some nice Largemouths...for Spotted Bass (and some Largemouths) in shallow water (or deep) I have been using a Shakey Head with a Zoom Trick Worm or Finese Worm...they love them...but I like to fish plastics...I am good with other baits (spinner bait, crank baits, etc...) but love to fish a worm...hope this helps...

Try the Banjo 006 Minnow works only in clear water though so try a top water spinner that has a very visible color!!!!
