Bass guitar question

Question

hey, i play bass, and i'm decent

but when i started playing a new song

that went from high to low quickly i noticed

a sliding sound, and i don't really know how

to get rid of that, so, could you help?

(p.s. i play for worship at my youth group

so a quick answer would be awesome :D )

What do you mean by a sliding change. Are you playing on one string only?

That would account for the sliding change. Let me know
