  1. My uncle always used any type of surface or swimming frog bait. If your lake has some lily pads, try this: throw the frog out and try to pull up onto the pad and twitch softly to mimic a frog crawling across the surface of the pad. Let him gwntly fall off the end of the pad and repeat. If that didn't work, he would switch to a 'Devil Horse.' Throw it out and let it sit. Wait two or three seconds. Twitch your rod once. Wait two seconds again and twitch your rod twice.  Just change it up a bit: fast, slow, twitch the rod to make erratic actions similar to a wounded fish. Hope this helps! Tight lines!! :D

  2. wierd you asked that because I just got done from a tournament with overcast and murkey water and I got hits and 1 12 incher on a white spinnerbait. You want to use white for them to see it better but that is only for lures for soft plastics go with darker colors. HTH

  3. When I fish in chocolate milk, I prefer a white/chart spinner with trailer and rattles in shallow 3-6 feet deep near banks. Slow retrieve to allow vibrations and sounds over flash and movement. My two cents...

  4. gold booya spinnerbait

  5. try a jitter bug

  6. Dark colored plastic worm!
