  1. I've only been to two, the one in Orlando and the original in Springfield, MO. There is a world of differance between them. Orlando's reminds me of other big name stores that move to Orlando. They look like they are geared to the tourist trade.

I went to the Springfield in '99 and returned in '00. The store is build on multiple levels with a fantastic resturant, Hemingways, on the third floor. There's a museum next door that has a replica of every world record fish ever caught. In '00 it was being remodeled and we couldn't get in.

I couldn't wait for the store in Orlando to open. When it did, I took my wife and mother, who had been to the one in Springfield, and like me, they were disappointed. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing like a Bass Pro Shop, compairing any store to the original, it's just not the same. The one in Orlando reminded me of the K-Mart of fishing lures. Go, you will enjoy. If you are ever near Springfield, MO, take it in, you'll be in for a treat.

Additional details: I'm sorry, I forgot to include their web site so you could see for yourself:  http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores...
