Bass quit working in my 1994 Ford Explorer?!?!?

Yesterday i was driving down the road listening to a cd and the bass just stopped working, I checked all the settings and all that jazz, the vocals and music still work fine. Does anyone know what this could be?

Dou you have a separate bass jack. If there is no problem with wiring, then tour bass out circuit has a burned component.

Are we dealing with the factory installed system or are there aftermarket components?

If there are aftermarket components the most common offenders is loose cables.

Beyond that some aftermarket radios have the ability to switch on and off the sub outputs
