Bass sound in my home theatre?

the chairs used to vibrate to the base and now they dont anymore

  1. If the sub is powered, then check the volume on the subwoofer.


  2. Definitly check where the tones are at in the receiver because you can control bass, midrange, and tweeters. Check to see if your subwoofer is working, check the back of the sub for the volume control. Also check the audio source to see if any audio preferences were changed (my computer runs music to my system and i use it as a equalizer to control sound preferences).

    If there is no sound or staticy sounds, check connections.

  3. The only thing that should "vibrate" is the woofer cone.Objects vibrating in the room should be removed to enjoy deep CLEAR bass.

  4. are your cables hooked up correctly

    you could have the bass volume turned down on the reciever

    the subwoofer might be blown
