I was watching a bassmaster tournament a couple of months back...they were using what looked like a topwater frog. It looked like it was a soft plastic and it kicked up water just like a buzz...some help would be appreciated

  1. I think what your describing is a horny toad.

  2. I think that it is a mizmick frog for a horny toad or the dinglefrog everybody is talking about!!

    good luck..

  3. It could be one of these three- Yum Buzz Frog, Horny Toad, Stanley Ribbet. All will create a commotion like a buzz bait when retrieved on the top of the water.

  4. Frogs are always a sure bet, although there are hundreds of different patents, but it was most likely one of these, assuming you can remember it..............................

  5. they're called dinglefrogs, they kick up water, and i always catch fish with them. You can find them at any fishing store anywere for about $3.

  6. I don't know about the one you are referring to, but I love the Secret Lures CL "Chubby" frog on a 5/0 Mr. Blitz 1/8th peli-lock weighted hook for pads, and weedlines for topwater fun.

    FISH ON!!!
