b*****d just means illegitimate, and bi--tch just means domineering or a female animal. Why do we get upset?

by words that are not derogatory but are simply the most concise way to describe something? If some people are so uneducated that they don't understand what these common words actually mean, is that any reason to censor the words when used in their proper context? Such as censoring them in Yahoo Answers by purported experts who just can't speak the English language?

  2. its the same as saying f off its not being used in its literal term its being used as an insulting term.

  3. Because people decided that they wanted to take these words way outta context. Normally when people use these words, their being very degrading towards someone. And I'm sure you know that. But to use them the way they were meant to be used, I don't think its wrong. I can see where your coming from though.

    Think or the N word. what did it originally mean? and look at it now.

  4. The word 'b*****d' was extremely offensive for many years and it still is to anyone who happens to be born out-of-wedlock and not know who their father is. Being a b*****d means that your birth father doesn't claim you, and this can be an extremely painful thought for an illegimate child to acknowledge.

Although this words have meaning we have as a society given them extra derogatory meanings.  When one person calls another those names not only are they showing their lack of intelligence but they are just attempting to be cruel. I personally don't care if people call me either one as that person saying it, doesn't matter in my world. Of course without knowing the contexts of its use it is hard to say why a person should or should not have felt it should be censored.
