The Bavarian skipper has credited manager Jupp Heynckes for the sensational performances this year and has hailed his impact since joining in the summer.

helped the players improve on their shortcomings from last season.
Heynckes joined the former Bundesliga champions in summer this year and has had an instant impact since then. The tactician has guided the team to the top of the table in the league and to the knock-out stages of the UEFA Champions
League and is confident of a very successful year with the Munich giants.
The boss managed Bayer Leverkusen to an amazing second-place finish last year, before joining Bayern and has impressed many with his tactics.
Schweinsteiger heaped praise on Heynckes and admitted that the manager’s football understanding and his tactics have helped the players a great deal. He insisted that the former Bayer Leverkusen boss’s vast experience also helps
the side very much as he points out the mistakes very easily and helps to improve on them.
“He always keeps his cool and a sense of perspective. He's also incredibly knowledgeable, and very good at putting himself in a player's shoes. He prefers a harmonious atmosphere, but there have been times when he's really laid
into the team and pointed out our mistakes. That's very important,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The German international rubbished reports claiming that Jupp Heynckes would leave the club at the end of the season due to health issues. He stated that the manager is physically fit and will continue with the club in the next
season as well.
“The all-round package which is Jupp Heynckes is very, very good. And he's unbelievably fit for his age,” he concluded.
Bastian Schweinsteiger has so far made 260 Bundesliga appearances for Bayern Munich and has scored 28 goals in the process. The midfielder also has 90 international caps to his name, scoring 23 times in the process.
