Bastian Schweinsteiger out of Bayern?
One of the best players to emerge from the new golden generation of German footballers is holding midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger. Schweinsteiger had been one of the most impressive players for Germany during the course of the FIFA World Cup 2010 and was
acclaimed to go on and become one of the greatest to ever play for the country.
On the other hand the player has spent nearly his entire life at local German football club, Bayern Munich. Munich have had their fair share of success with the player and Schweinsteiger owes most of what he is today to the team. However after a recent turn
of events it seems like the once prized possession might just be on his way out of the club if the offer is come up.
The Munich manager Louis van Gaal, who has gone on to state that despite the player being one of the best in the world at what he does, it might not be up to him or even the manager to keep the player from leaving the team. He went on to add that if a significant
offer was to be made for the player then he might just find himself out of the team as soon as the offer is to be made. Van Gaal is quoted to have said: "Bayern Munich is a business and if €30m (£25.7m) has been offered for him, then you cannot just ignore
that kind of money."
The manger went on to state this despite the fact that the players contract currently runs with the team till the summer of 2012. The manager has still gone ahead and stated out of the blue that the player would be allowed to leave for a considerate offer.
This only means that Munich are looking to cash in on their prized asset before his market values goes downhill.
Van Gaal also went ahead and stated that he was a business man and played a crucial part in the buying and selling of players at whatever team he managed, the manager is reported to have said: "I would do it differently. My clubs have always listened to
what I have said, and have always earned a lot of money."
What this means is that Europe's elite clubs better get ready with their cheque books because it appears like one of the best players in the world has just gone ahead and made himself available for a transfer.
