The Bayern Munich midfielder reckons that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marco-Reus-c23733 is not yet ready to play for the Bavarians and expressed his desire to play alongside Mario Gotze.
Bayern Munich midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bastian-Schweinsteiger-c7374, believes that Borussia Monchengladbach striker, Marco Reus, is not mature enough to play for Bayern Munich yet. Instead, the influential midfielder has urged the Bayern bosses to
sign Borussia Dortmund attacker, Mario Gotze.
Schweinsteiger reckons that despite performing brilliantly so far this season, Reus still needs time to polish his skills, and he should spend more time at Borussia Park.
Reus’ name is on top of Bayern’s wish list for next summer, and Schweinsteiger has rubbished claims of his place being under threat if the attacker moves to Allianz Arena. He believes that that the youngster is one of the best
emerging talents in world football, but it will be difficult for him to adjust immediately at Bayern.
The German international insisted that the Bayern squad possesses some top quality players, and it will be very hard for Reus to earn an immediate first-time place. In the presence of names such as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arjen-Robben-c6521, Franck Ribery,
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Toni-Kroos-c35425, Thomas Muller and Schweinsteiger himself, it will be a tall order for the youngster to get himself in the starting line-up, and sitting on the benches will hamper his progress.
While talking to Tz newspaper, the German veteran further stated:
"I don't think now is the right time for him to come to Munich. We already have very good players for his position. There have already been times when we have signed talented youngsters and things have not worked out for them."
Reus has been in impressive form for the Foals so far this season, and has bagged 10 goals from 14 league appearances.
Borussia Monchengladbach have placed a 17.5 million Euros buy-out clause in the attacker’s contract.
On the other hand, Schweinsteiger has advised the Bayern officials to sign Mario Gotze from Borussia Dortmund. He feels that Gotze is a very mature character, and he can shoulder the midfield responsibilities at Allianz-Arena.
"I personally think he is already very, very mature. I am extremely impressed with his footballing qualities and his character." He concluded.
