injury in next seven to ten days. He expressed his confidence that he will start his full training in a week’s time.
Davis added, “He (Eastmond) had an injury prior to joining us but the staff have been working extremely hard to get him in the right shape.”
Davis has termed Eastmond as a talented and hardworking individual. He added, “We are excited about when he is going to be available but we'll probably drip-feed the rugby to him and let him
bed in. We have no doubts whatsoever that he's going to be a success.”
Davis further added that Eastmond too is working hard and fully coordinating with the medical team to retain full fitness. He added that Eastmond is trying his level best to hit the field at
his earliest, deliver some good performances, and contribute in team’s success.
Oldham based Eastmond started his professional Rugby career with the English professional Rugby League’s outfit, St Helens in 2007. During his stay at the club until the end of 2011 season,
he made 74 appearances for the St Helens in both Super League and Challenge cup competitions. He also has scored massive 433 points comprising of 39 tries, 137 goals, and 3 field goals. The Saints suspended him in March 2011 for a serious misconduct.
