  1. Just replace the whole thing then, I have done it in our house, it can't be that hard because I am female, AND they work, no leaks or nothing. You just need a basin spanner, and away you go!

  2. try a tap conversion set .gives you new tap body & washer + chrome tap heads

  3. Your best be is to replace the whole tap.

    Ja.

  4. The plastic tap handles are c**p.  They should have been brass as well just like the faucet. and held together with a s***w.  Chuck the plastic and get some metal controls otherwise you will not be able to turn the water on or off.

  5. The plastic ones never last. You should be able to get replacements. Failing that, just replace it all.

  6. stick em on with Araldite .

  7. you could try wrapping some PTFE tape around the tap stems and then push the tap heads back on,failing that try araldite
