Bathroom Pics with Yellow Tub?

Hi folks,

I've got a 70's mustard yellow bathtub (and toilet and sink). I'm about to redo the bathroom. I was going to refinish the tub and replace the toilet and sink, but before I do I was wondering if anyone knows of a site with pics of a nice bathroom that has a yellow tub. I want to see if I can make it work.

I plan to replace (possibly tile) the shower surround, tile the floor, paint the walls, and replace the vanity. Also possibly replace the toilet and sink. So, the design scheme is open. But I need pics to see what I like.

The rest of the house is very calming, New England, and classic. It's a 1910 New England Colonial. I would want to keep with this design scheme (and don't want to introduce a 70's retro scheme).

i did a job last year for an elderly couple who had the yellow tub and toilet.  we used a beige-ish tile with a deco band and 4 corner shelves.  the floor was tiled with a 16x16 white toned tile.  the lady decorated with dark maroon and blue striped shower curtain and window curtain and some pictures of flowers in the same line of colors.  i have a couple pictures of the tiled tub but need your email address to send them.  mine is [e-mail].  they don't show all of the tub or shower curtain, but it might give you an idea of what an updated version of the yellow tub looks like.  put yahoo answers in the subject line if you decide to email.  thank you.

I have the same issue you do; a god-aweful 70's yellow bathroom.  Unfortuantely, in my house they took it even further and put up yellow tiles in the shower, a yellow toilet, a yellow sink, and yellow 1 inch floor tiles.  And then the previous owners put up yellow wallpaper.  Your best bet is to either reglaze the tub so it is no longer the hideous mustard yellow, that someone must have been on drugs to think looked good, or just take the entire thing out and put in a new tub.
