Hello

My Husband and I received a few estimates on our bathroom remodel and would like to know if this sounds to HIGH...We are getting a New Vanity a long with a new plumbing (Trap), New Lighting. The lighting will have to be moved about 7" to keep it center with the new vanity. Removing the old Mirror and installing a new one. The Wall behind the mirror will have to be texured. We are having Tile put in (56SF)...Having a New Toilet installed, New Baseboards and New Paint. We received estimates of around $6000.- 7000K for labor and should cost complete around 8500 to 9000 Total...We live in Southern California. Anyhelp would be great.

  1. Your labor costs sound consistent with what I have paid in Scottsdale, AZ, but the material costs sound much too low.  I am guessing that the bids have $ assumptions for your vanity, toilet, mirror etc, and that these are for the lowest quality available.

  2. Yes........should be half that much.........4000 should be enough............. do it yourself.........and see..........wow I think I will fly down and help you out and still stop in vegas and have a good time for a week...........Sorry , that just seems High to me......My cabinet man does a kitchen for that price.....We all need to make a living.......but that's a little spend-ee even if the bath is big.
