Bathroom decorating?

I'm trying to create a new, fancier looking bathroom. I'm not going to do go all out redoing the sink, shelfs, and everything. I've already read about putting towels in baskets and whatnot. I would like NEW ideas!(I'm trying to create a gold/purple theme) Thanks!

The biggest difference and fairly inexpensive way is first paint the walls in desired hues of purple (light, slightly off purple is best). If you like gold, I would replace all hardware in the bathroom to gold plated ones such as faucet, shower valves and head, etc. Also if you have a fiberglass bathtub and/or shower combo, I would remove them and tile the shower walls with porcelain glazed tiles (light purple again). The tub should be cast iron with white porcelain. Also replace loose items like the trash can with purple and gold trim.
