  1. RED TO RED, BLACK TO BLACK, BLEW  TO BITS!       GET A SPARKY IN IF IN DOUBT

  2. If it works automaticly with the humidity it probably shouldn't be on a switch.

  3. Ill bet the manufacturer of your fan has a pdf file wiring guide online that you can look up.  What I would do is enter the make and model number directly into google and you will probably find the info you need.  I do this whenever I lose instructions to remotes and other elec. devices and i can usually find the info.

  4. the wires should be color coded.

  5. You didnt say what color wires that you have on the fan, or

how many. If you have a black, hook it up to the wire coming

from the switch. Connect all the whites together. You should

    have another wire....could be red....(but not green)...hook

up to a wire that is hot all the time. Hope this helps, could

do better if I knew for sure what wires you are dealing with.

  6. get the make and model off the machine and check on the Internet for a wiring guide.  Otherwise you may have a bigger problem in a few days.

  7. are you wiring it direct?? or through a switch??? is it a 3 or 4 wire set-up??? not counting the ground wire!!!  I suggest going back to the store and asking if you can get a copy of the wiring diagram or bring a paper along and write it down or if all fails call an electrician that you know for some help!!!
