Bathroom windows - dark blinds or light blinds?

Question

I am going for a SPA look in the ensuite bathroom. We have a corner tub and 2 large windows in both corners. We have medium brown tile on the floor, med. brown cabinet and light countertop. Have you ever seen dark blinds in the bathroom and how does it look? Will it look rich and Spa-Like or just too much you think? I`m torn in between Hunger Douglas Everwood faux blinds in Walnut or in Sugar Pine (off-white) color. Please Help!!

I think you will be happier with the Sugar Pine.  The Walnut would be too dark and probably not a good enough match with the other browns.  When I think spa, I think fresh and light so keep your towels off white as well and accessories simple.  Less is more for a spa look.

I would go with the lighter color. You should let as much light into your bathroom as possible.
