Bathrooms in airplanes?

Just curious, when you use the bathroom in an airplane, where does it all go? Does it stay in the plane or what?

yeah it stays in a compartment int eh plane until they empty it when they land!!

It all goes into a blue plastic bag filled with ice. Once the bag is full it is emptied out at the airport.

the other answers are true,but on long haul flights they empty it over the sea

It stays in the plane in the plane's sewage system they then empty it later kinda like a job johnny :-P the waste doesn't go out of the plane while they are in the air or other wise some guy will look up to the sky on what seemed like a beautiful day and will get a face full of ................ stuff ;-)

It goes into a sewage system that is kept cool to prevent odors. Have you ever been on a motor home? Well this is what it is like but only a lot larger and cooler because it is cooled and it is -58F at 30 000 feet . Plus it goes though that blue sterilizing stuff. They empty it EVERY time the plane arrives at any airport.
