Batley Bulldogs rally players as they move into play-offs: Rugby League News
The Batley Bulldogs have announced a rally call of their players as they are marching into the play-off games. This call is an attempt to heighten the players’ confidence as they participate in presentation night which is scheduled to take
place on Friday, September 2.
However, there are a lot of arrangements by the franchise’s management to commemorate this occasion for the Bulldogs players who are heading for the play-offs. There will be a marquee pegged up in the ground near the Glen Tomlinson stand, to accommodate
as many supporters as possible. In order to further grab attention which may lead to higher turnout for the event. There is also an arrangement for a lavish hog roast.
This event can only be attended by the supporters through entry-pass which costs £6 per person, inclusive of the food cost. The tickets will be available at the club, or from the Bulldog Bar that will open up on Saturday for the Challenge Cup final telecast.
While speaking about the rally call to grab the support of fans and supporters, Kevin Nicholas, who heads the franchise, stated “We have had a brilliant season and look set to finish in our highest league place since 1995. Our support has been brilliant
all season, especially away from home, and it was great to see so many Batley supporters at Sheffield last week. We want to make the presentation night a really big occasion and all the players and their wives will be attending. This is a way of thanking everybody
for getting behind us and to also thank the players for their performances.”
Through the participation of fans and supporters at the presentation night the Bulldogs will be encouraged to deliver in the best possible manner. This way the players of Bulldogs will get the boost which will sweep them within the top-flight as they are
ambitioning to finish off the season at a very high note. It was further shared by the chairman that it will please the Bulldog players to have a huge turnout on the event as it means a lot for the franchise.
