Straight question, batsmen 1, 2 are openers and batsmen 3 is one down. Question is can they be bold out on say for example ball 3 4 5 of the same over.

  1. I don't think so,not balled anyway.

There could be other sequences where they could be dismissed in the manner you described.

  2. it is very diffecult but ...............

if bolower have a guts then he can do it..........

  3. Both the openers and No. 3 batsman cannot be bowled out  oin consecutive balls 1, 2, 3 or 3,4, 5 of the same over.  However, the 3 batsmen can be bowled out in consecutive balls if first 2 batsmen are bowled out in 5th and 6th ball and the other batsman is bowled out in the first ball of the next over

  4. Batsman 1,2 and 3 in the order cannot be bowled out in 3 consecutive deliveries of the same over: this is an impossibility.

However, they can be dismissed off 3 consecutive deliveries of the same over. And here's how:-

Bowler bowls first ball of over to Batsman 1. Batsman hits ball into air. Batsman 1 and 2 cross, and then ball is caught. Batsman 1 out. Batsman 3 comes to the wicket, but is non-striker, as ball crossed, and Batsman 2 is in strike. Same thing happens off second ball of over. Batsman 3 now on strike, and 2 and 3 crossed. Batsman 3 can then get out any way he chooses to fulfill your improbable hat-trick.

  5. How about a really wild guess:

Batsman 1 on strike, the bowler bowls and the batsman hits it high and straight above himself. he runs and they cross, the ball falls on the stumps (something like played on) and batsman 1 is out, batsman 2 on strike.

Batsman 2 manages to get bowled in the same way, bringing batsman 3 on strike. He is thankfully, bowled the normal way.

There you go, three balls, nos. 1,2 and 3 bowled.

  6. It depends what you mean by consecutive ball? If no ball OR wide still consider in all 3 balls? than it is not possible, but if consecutive means fair ball, than there are several different ways they Can be out.

    Scenario 1

    1st ball .. 1st batsman bowled.

2nd ball .. 3rd batsman came for batting and bowled

3rd ball .. no ball and a run made by 4th batsman, so 2nd batsman is on batting, but since it was not fair ball, it does not count against 6 deliveries.

    3rd ball.. 2nd batsman bowled

    Scenario 2

    1st ball .. 1st batsman bold.

2nd ball .. 3rd batsman came for batting and bowled

3rd ball .. Wide ball Nada a run made by 4th batsman, so 2nd batsman is on batting, but since it was not fair ball, it does not count against 6 deliveries.

    3rd ball.. 2nd batsman bowled.
