Batteries for camera - which ones??

I just bought a new Samsung camera, and annoyingly it need AA batteries...which ones are the best and last longest?

Would it be better to get rechargable ones instead n how much should I expect to pay?

  1. It's definitely worth buying rechargeable, we have them and a spare set so one set can be charging up whilst we are using the other set. We found we couold only take about 10 pictures with ordinary batteries before they were dead and it's worth buying better quality camera batteries like the ones I have pasted a link for.

  2. There are advantages in using AA which are widely available. Buy rechargeable metal-hydride AA. They do not have 'memory'. Get as high a mAH as you can, e.g. 2600mAH. You can buy a charger, and the best is the Globetrotter, which is very portable:

  3. Get any rechargeables. 2400,2500, 2600. It must say NiMH on them. Usually I stick to Duracell. I believe around $10- for four.
