I took my t-touch to a louzy repair shop in Paris for a battery change. The guy opened the watch in front of me (it was still working), unscrewed the inner battery cover, and replaced the battery; but since then the watch did not work anymore. He tried several times with also new batteries, but nothing to do.
He told me that probably there was a spring for the negative contact which might have be gotten lose after he opened it, so he try with another spring, fitting it in a small hole, within the battery compartment, but once again the watch was completely dead.
Any insights on the problem will be greately appreciated.
In particular I would like to know if this spring thing should really be there or not, and if the watch must be reset after the new battery is installed (how?).
Thanks a lot
